Outreach

Dear friends,

we are now in our third week of teaching. Last week we had about The Bible and Biblical worldview. Very interesting, but also challenging to understand that God actually is the same in The Old and The New Testament. God show us who He is through the whole Bible! This week we have teaching about identity and releasing destiny with an excellent american teacher called Joseph Watson. Very original guy who among others things has taught us that our destiny will never be in what we are doing but who we are becoming in Jesus Christ. It's all about receiving Him as our saviour and to become more alike Him!

Two days ago we received our outreach destination which will be South-Africa and Mozambique. On the 10. of Dezember we will go two weeks to the north of South-Africa, then about seven weeks in Mozambique. Next week we will get some more information about what we are going to do during our outreach. We will be a group of seven students; one couple from Mauritius (how many of you know where this is, I didn't until recently), Rachelle from Burkina Faso, Tim from Alaska and Kairo from South-Africa. Our two staff members that will join us are from Brazil. Six nationalities are represented, we like it!

Today we will have work in the neighbourhood community again. I'm in the childrens group and we have prepared music, drama and memory verses for them. Last time there were some twenty kids below age 13 that showed up. I look forward to it! Marit is with the teens and they are doing a great job with them.
